Background:

The City of Madison acquired Lot 1 Sunny Oaks Subdivision (18.45 acres) and Lots 2A & 2B of Mose Chapel Subdivision (21.57 acres) in 2023 for the purpose of creating a park that would augment the Bradford Creek Greenway and Trailhead, the LCE for which was granted in June 2014. The subject property had previously been approved for a 66 lot subdivision in 2022 (Bradford Downs); however, the developer decided to not move forward with the project.
