English Mountain Trout Farm - Sevierville Tennessee

“You hook ‘em…We cook ‘em!”

As I was planning out our fall break trip to the Smoky Mountains I was looking for unique experiences and a little something off the beaten path for my kids to try out!

English Mountain Trout Farm was just that!! We arrived and got two fishing poles (one for Owen and one for Hazel). We knew they probably wouldn’t eat too much of the fish, so we also ordered them something off their kids menu and planned for the fish to be our (the adults) main meal.

We had help baiting the poles and the kids threw in their lines. We had a blast working to catch our fish and before long they each had one caught! Someone helps you with a net and then takes your fish off to the kitchen!

Waiting is the hard part, but it’s well worth it! Choose blackened or fried with side of French fries, hush puppies, coleslaw, fried green tomatoes and more. & it was absolutely delicious!!
