Seibold Campground: One of North Alabama's best campgrounds!
As I mentioned yesterday, we rented an RV for a little camping adventure last weekend. We love Honeycomb Campground, but wanted to try something different this year! We ended up researching Seibold Campground in Guntersville (thanks dad!) and knew this would be a great spot for our family. We loved that there was a pool, shade, and was within a few miles of @cityharbor_lakeguntersville for a quick outing if desired.
When we arrived we are PLEASANTLY surprised that the location was even better than the website portrayed.
Well kept and gorgeous, we enjoyed the mature, tall trees that were not only beautiful, but provided some much needed shade.
Everyone on the grounds (it looks like some visitors stay longer term) were MORE than friendly. Everyone smiles, waves, and are just so inviting.
The kids loved riding their bikes and we felt very safe on the roads, as everyone drives slow!
The pool was a major plus. It was clean and a great place to cool off and burn some toddler energy.
We went fishing off the small docks and caught many little fish so bring your fishing gear! We grabbed live worms at a store nearby. You'll also want to grab some firewood.
If you have a boat, there's also a boat ramp for use!
Each campsite has a picnic table and fire pit.
The campground is pet friendly! We ended up taking our new puppy, Milo, and we are SO glad did. There were many other dogs and they were all properly cared for and leashed during our stay.
City Harbor, an establishment of restaurants and shops on a dock in Guntersville, is a short drive away. Grab a drink, dinner, and and listen to live music!
An overall fantastic stay! I would definitely recommend you check it out!
