To say we love Mill Creek Greenway would be a massive understatement. It is such a great feature of our little town.
If we are feeling adventurous 😅, we will pack up and head to the Mill Creek entrance. Our kids love to watch the horses and on several occasions we have been steps away from deer!
Don’t put it past us to take our shoes off and wade in the creek either. One of my fondest childhood memories is playing in the creek next to my grandparents house for hours upon hours…So seeing my kids do this brings so much joy.
It’s the perfect serene spot to get away, without going far at all. With several entrances including Palmer Park, Mill Creek, Balch, and County line (Heritage Elementary) there are plans for the trail to keep extending Into the city.
The Balch side includes a fenced dog park, perfect for your fur babies! There are benches and tables throughout as well!
Keep and eye out the next time you are there…There are at least two Little Free Libraries to stop at along the way!
